Monday morning and the work grind is back on. Got someone sitting next to me with a bag that extends passed his lap into mine 🙄 Other than that I’m all good. Had a super productive weekend. Sorted out winter clothes, threw stacks of old books away which is the most heartbreaking job for me but it had to be done. Fed the orchids, sprayed with insecticide and I feel quite chuffed with the effort of the whole weekend. So now it’s the project, the day job that will consume me. And another approval round this week. But that’s not so bad I guess as I think of those affected by the devastating fires in the US and so many others doing it tough out there. Life ..... so hard. I watched a program the other night of communities living amongst gang violence. Beautiful families bringing kids up who are filled to the brim with potential yet not a day goes by that a bit of their soul is not chewed up and spat upon by their surrounds. A little boy stood shaking with terror as someone in his household was stabbed right in front of him. What a tragedy for this young life. The commentators comments .. “something is very wrong here, very wrong “ So this morning I think of this little boy and I wonder how he is doing. How his subconscious is processing the trauma. What will the long term impact be. Will he go out and be motivated to change it or will he become a perpetuator of the evil he has been exposed to. While I sit here on my way to work I’ll take a moment to pray over him and his future. That’s the very least I can do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have a beautiful week all 💕Photo by #unsplash

May we never discount the little things, the insignificant offerings we have, the idea that may seem silly or worthless. Presented at the right time, out of a big heart and gifted with humility, it can move mountains. We are all blessed with purpose and conviction. We are all blessed and graced to serve. There is a mountain to move so let’s get on with it 💕
